Bloom is for the 95% of people who need to crop, adjust, add text, resize, and retouch —
and who currently pay Adobe $275/year or give up because other free tools are too confusing.
If you're a professional print designer who needs Camera Raw and CMYK separations,
Photoshop is the better tool. For everyone else, Bloom is better and it costs a dollar.
Many Windows programs run through our built-in compatibility layer. Common apps like web browsers, office tools, and media players are already included natively. For Windows-specific software, you double-click the .exe and it launches. Some programs with kernel-level anti-cheat, hardware-specific drivers, or aggressive DRM may not be compatible.
Is my computer compatible?
If your computer runs Windows — even an old version — it almost certainly runs Battleship OS. We have no TPM requirement, no CPU list, no hardware gatekeeping. Computers Microsoft rejected run this beautifully.
How do updates work?
Your license key unlocks automatic updates — security patches, new features, virus definitions, and tracker lists. Updates download silently in the background. You'll see a green shield in the top bar when everything is current.
What if I get a new computer?
Visit battleshipos.com/account, enter your email and license key, and click "Transfer." Your key activates on the new machine automatically. No support tickets, no waiting.
Do you collect my data?
No. We don't track you, profile you, or sell your information. The only time your computer contacts our server is to check for updates — and even that just sends your license key, not your identity or browsing habits.
